Here we are, at the beach. After a shower on Sunday night, the temperatures have dropped from the low 100's to the mid 80's just in time for our visit. We are eating well, reading lots, playing much, and enjoying our break. I don't think I have ever felt the desire so deeply before to get away and do NOTHING.
I realized, on our interminably long drive here, that we have done this before: taken off on vacation with the plans to return just 3 days before my brothers and their families arrive for a week long visit. I have many preparations awaiting me when we return home, but I did think ahead and get plenty done before hand, to make my transition from little responsibility to lots a bit easier.
I will post more pictures later of our adventures here. At the moment, I don't want to think any further ahead than the 2 minute walk to the beach.
